I was approached by a group writing a fanfic for each senshi over a year ago now. The author that had signed on to write the fanfic for Saturn had quit, and they needed a new author to complete the project. I started out knowing next to nothing about Hotaru, but I thought it would be an interesting challenge and accepted the offer. I immediately began researching, and while I began to admire Hotaru's character, I was still desperately wracking my brains for a possible plot. Suddenly, I remembered a favorite quote from one of Tom Clancy's novels, and everything clicked. The Greatest Passion of All is the result. I hope you enjoy it.
