I was in Kyoto for three days and nights with two of my friends, Daria and Jayne. We got to see and do a lot while we were there! Kyoto is absolutely amazing, I enjoyed it much more than I did Tokyo. I would definitely recommend spending the bulk of any vacation in Japan in the Kansai area! Navigating using the city bus system sometimes got exciting (thank goodness Jayne speaks and reads Japanese much better than I do!) but we never got irrevocably lost! I got a few good photos (defined as a picture where less than 50% of the photo contains my finger!) while we were there, so I thought I'd share them with you.
